Steve Faivre works for The Significance Project, a resource for the worldwide movement of Campus Crusade for Christ, International, known in the United States as Cru.
The mission of The Significance Project is to equip men, women, and couples to discover their God-given design and embrace His purpose for their lives through small group gatherings and individual peer coaching using proven life-coaching tools. The Significance Project provides resources for evangelism and discipleship to the body of Christ in general, and to the worldwide movement of Campus Crusade for Christ, International in particular, helping to fulfill the Lord’s Great Commission to make disciples of all nations.
Steve works in San Diego as a global strategy consultant to The Significance Project’s leadership team at Cru’s Orlando headquarters. He currently serves as communications director, maintaining connections with all global and regional teams, as well as national directors and their teams. Since Lorrie Yturralde Faivre’s death, he has also taken on many of her responsibilities for financial administration.
Steve is also an international field consultant to four of the worldwide movement’s seven regions: Africa, Europe, NAMESTAN (North Africa, Middle East, and the “Stan” countries of Central Asia), and SESA (South East and South Asia). He works with national directors who wish to license, translate, print, and distribute The Significance Project’s resources within their countries to support their ministries of evangelism and discipleship.
In North America, Steve is also a life coach who provides resources for life change through small group gatherings and individual peer coaching. He plans to rekindle interest in small groups at First Presbyterian Church, as well as among men, women, and couples in San Diego. In the future, he hopes to offer these coaching resources to Ladle and the San Diego Rescue Mission.
Steve is a ruling elder at First Presbyterian Church San Diego, where he is responsible for Sunday worship.
Steve seeks to have an enduring global impact through The Significance Project, a global ministry of Cru International. They help equip others worldwide to be more effective in evangelism and discipleship.
