What to Expect

Location and Parking

First Presbyterian Church is located at 320 Date Street, between Third Avenue and Fourth Avenue, just north of the I-5 freeway. If using a GPS navigation device, enter the address of 1742 Third Avenue, San Diego, CA 92101 to reach parking reserved for new visitors.

Sunday Services

On Sunday mornings, we have a 9am worship service in our sanctuary. Sunday evenings we worship in the chapel at 4:30PM.

Our Jazz Vespers evening service incorporates jazz, blues,

and gospel into the service.

Childcare

“The Nest” (0-4 yrs old) opens at 8:45am and continues through the 10:30a-11:30a education hour.

“The Flock” (K-5th grade)

Children study the Bible, memorize scripture, play games and visit the memory Store

Accomodations

For those who are mobility challenged, we have a street level entrance on Fourth Avenue at the corner of Fourth and Date.

Livestream

Interested in seeing how our service runs? Our livestream is a great way to get a taste of what our worship is like, what our sermons sound like, and how we gather. We encourage you to visit us in person after checking out a livestream; We want to meet you and believe it is important to form connections in the church body.
