SINCE 1983, THE LADLE FELLOWSHIP HAS SERVED SAN DIEGO’S HOMELESS COMMUNITY WITH HOT MEALS AND CLOTHING.

However, for many people on the streets, the lack of hope is an even greater risk factor than lack of proper food, shelter, and clothing. By sharing God’s gospel of grace, and living God’s law of love, the Ladle Fellowship gives help and hope to those on the edge of society in
our city. We need your support!
Ladle provides an opportunity for many individuals and groups to experience the joy of service to the urban poor. Although Christ is the focus of our ministry, we are happy to have volunteers of any faith (or no faith) come and serve with us.
Donations to Ladle Fellowship will be used exclusively to support the Ladle program of First Presbyterian Church in its ministry to the poor/homeless in downtown San Diego. First Presbyterian Church is recognized by the IRS as a 501(c)3, non-profit corporation. Therefore, your donations to Ladle are tax deductible. You can donate by check or credit card.
Prayer
Each Sunday we have volunteers who go around to the tables, pray with our guests, and collect their prayer requests. These requests are distributed to those who would like to pray for our guests during the week. If you would like to be added to our list of prayer warriors, subscribe to the Ladle email update here.
