Developing Global Disciples from Every Nation to Every Nation

Did you know over 1 million international students and scholars study in the U.S.?And, most are from places with little or no access to the Gospel. At the same time, Americans have much to learn from Christian international students.

What if every international student had an American friend? What if every American student graduates as a global Christian, having a more holistic picture of God’s kingdom?

By instilling vision, creating resources, and conducting training, Eva and her team mobilizes and equips American InterVarsity staff and students to seek out and serve international students and to receive from the global church.

About InterVarsity Christian Fellowship

Since 1941, InterVarsity/USA has been seeking to establish and advance witnessing communities of students and faculty on college/university campuses “who follow Jesus as Savior and Lord: growing in love for God, God’s Word, God’s people of every ethnicity and culture, and God’s purposes in the world.” Go here to learn more about InterVarsity's history.  The International Student Ministry (ISM) department’s vision is to develop global disciples from every nation to every nation.  We long to see international and American students graduate with a global perspective to God’s Kingdom and the world.

PRAYER NEEDS:

  • Wisdom in adapting ministry approach considering current realities (COVID, reaching Gen Z etc.)

  • Building bridges between different nationalities and ethnicities on campus

  • New prayer and financial partners
