First Presbyterian Church of San Diego has a growing ministry to the young adults in our congregation and surrounding community. Adults aged 20 to early 40's are invited to mingle over refreshments in the courtyard between services on every 2nd Sunday of the month.

A Bible Study is held offsite (in Banker's Hill) on the second and fourth Wednesdays of each month from 6:45 to 8:30 p.m., with a social event on months with five Wednesdays. Email Eva Glick for details at

Christian Education classes geared toward the younger adults in our community are offered during the year as part of our Academy of Faith (Sunday School) classes between services at 9:45 a.m. Currently, we offer a class for those in college and in their 20's; another class for young professionals; and a third for those with children in the home.

Young adults in this ministry are invited to participate in a variety of gatherings each year. In addition to social events, we have served meals on Sunday afternoons at Ladle Fellowship (our ministry to the homeless).

College students living in San Diego or returning home for the holidays are invited to a Christmas celebration in December between services for food, fellowship, and to connect with other students and recent college grads in the spirit of Christmas!
