The Women of First Presbyterian Church of San Diego have an active and vibrant ministry that includes three Bible study groups, an annual Holiday Market, an annual Women's Retreat, and various other activities that support fellowship among the women of the church and/or support the church's needs. An example is the High Tea in January 2017, a multi-generational event for ladies 6 years and older.

Annual Women's Retreat
Every year the women of FPC go away for a weekend of refreshment, Bible study, contemplation, and fellowship.
Next year's retreat will be held the weekend of April 24-26, 2020 at the beautiful Mission San Luis Rey. Registration will open the beginning of February. The theme is "Beautiful Feet". Contact Peggy Baker if you have questions.
"How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!"
Each year in November, the women of the church sponsor a Holiday Market. Over twenty vendors and non-profit organizations sell their wares and the women of FPC sponsor a bake sale and lunch. Grandma's Attic offers high-end items for sale that have been donated by members and friends of FPC.
This is a great time of fellowship, fun, and shopping for all. Proceeds go towards scholarships, church activities, and mission projects supported by the women of FPC. $1,000 of the $5,000 raised at the 2016 market was given as a gift to the Women and Children's Program at the Rescue Mission. In the past these funds have been made available for church needs such as an ice machine and freezer for the West Room kitchen. Funds also assist our women's Bible study groups and our annual women's retreat, to cover costs that are not covered by participants.
