The Gospel is More Than Forgiveness
Sundays August 1-22
10:30am in the West Room
The Gospel is More Than Forgiveness begins Sunday, August 1st. Janice Raymond looks at how different cultures understand the world around them, how we can share the Gospel in a way that will resonate, and how the telling of Bible stories can facilitate the process. Please join us after morning worship. This class runs from August 1-22.
Please join us!
Starting Sunday June 6th at 10:30 in the Goodwin Annex, Grief Share is for people grieving the death of a loved one, family member or friend.
Grief Share is a 13-week program of group sessions of 8-10 people. Each week we watch a DVD and then discuss it or any topic related to your grief. There is reading and exercises for homework. Please contact Bob Stermon with questions.
Jesus gives his disciples the Great Commission to go and make disciples of all nations in his authority and presence. As disciples of Jesus we are on the mission not of making church attenders, but disciples who go and make other disciples. Join Jeff Myers Saturday, Aug 21st on ZOOM to grow in the task Jesus Christ has given us to disciple other brothers and sisters. We will draw lessons from God's word, pray, and hear from others about their experience in intentional discipleship.
Joy of Living
Starts September 7th
JOY of Living Women’s bible study group will be studying the Gospel of Luke beginning on September 7th at 9:30am in the West Room. We will meet every Tuesday 9:30am–11am for prayer, fellowship and in-depth Bible study, with breaks for Thanksgiving, Christmas and Easter to conclude our study mid-May.
This year we need to special order our books; so registration begins early to get an accurate count in order to place the order. You must order the books through FPC; they are not available on the JOY of Living website.
Our plan is to meet in-person and we will continue a Zoom connection for those who cannot join us.
Contact Peggy Baker with any questions.
