HOLY COMMUNION

We practice open communion in our worship services. Any member or visitor who confesses Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior is welcome to join us in this visible Sign of His presence. We take communion together in worship because Jesus commanded us to do so.  Communion helps us draw close to Him, to meet Him, and receive Him in our hearts

At our early service, communion is served in the front of the sanctuary. Participants are asked to come down the center aisle, take a piece of bread or a communion wafer, and dip it into the cup. You may consume it immediately or take it back to your seat. Those who are unable to make the trip will be served at their seat by a pastor.

At the later service, communion is served to participants in their seats. Elders will pass a tray with bread, which you may take and hold. When all have been served, we partake together. Later, cups will distributed in the same way.

Communion Schedule

Communion is celebrated on the first Sunday of every month at our 8 AM service and the first Sunday of February, April, June, August, October and December at the later service. Communion is also served Ash Wednesday, Maundy Thursday and at other special worship services throughout the year.
