Lenten Study Series
Lent is the forty days, not including Sundays, that lead from Ash Wednesday to Easter Sunday. Lent is an appropriate time to renew your commitment to Christ and to move deeper in your relationship with Him. Moving devotionally through the period of Lent is the best way to truly prepare yourself for the joyful celebration of Easter morning.
Our Lenten Study Groups meet throughout the Lenten season, providing an aid to your devotional efforts and a wonderful opportunity for Bible study and Christian fellowship. Most of our existing LIFE Groups become Lenten Study Groups during this time and we usually add a few additional groups that meet just through the Lenten season. A complete listing of group locations and meeting times can be found in the Assembly Room during the Lenten season.
Our Lenton Series is well-led by the Spirit, well-taught from the pulpit by our pastor, and our group leaders are thoroughly prepared for their leadership role during the weekly Leader Preparation Classes.
A Lenten Study Guide is prepared each year. Study Guides can be picked up at the church office, scattered throughout the church building, and can also be viewed and printed from this website; below.
