Local Mission Opportunities

Our 8th Annual adult AMOR trip happened on June 10th, 118th & 12th, 2006.

Amor mission trips provide a great opportunity to be a missionary! If you are interested in attending next year's trip (2007), you can e-mail amor@fpcsd.org, contact Jeff Sloan (619.819.6771) in the Assembly Room between services, or call the Church office.

Amor means love in Spanish and it is the ideal word to describe this ministry. Amor Ministries strengthens the local church in Mexico while providing homes for the poverty stricken. This is a chance for us to join with the local church in Mexico to share Christ's love with people in these communities.

The FPC team builds a house for a family in need, experiences a hands-on mission project and grows in fellowship with each other over these three days. No special construction skills are needed and there is a place for you! Won't you consider joining us next year?
