Master Chorale

THE PAST IS PROLOGUE The San Diego Master Chorale, “The Voice of San Diego” by mayoral proclamation, includes 125 of San Diego’s finest singers who perform all around San Diego County.  This year they are celebrating their 50th year of choral excellence with a special selection of concert works, which highlight favorite pieces performed over the last half century.

They will present pieces by well-loved composers including Brahms’ Festive and Ceremonial Pieces, Gabrieli’s Jubilate Deo, and Mozart’s Solemn Vespers of the Confessor (which is anything but solemn!)

On a more contemporary note, they will also include Alice Parker’s Shout On!, Dello Joio’s Jubilant Song with text by Walt Whitman, and David Conte’s To Music, commissioned by the SDMC last fall.

You won’t want to miss this evening with San Diego’s Master Chorale.  Come hear the best San Diego has to offer!
